POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Marketing at Wurth Industry leads the development and execution of integrated marketing initiatives that drive brand growth, customer acquisition, and retention. This role is responsible for overseeing and executing key marketing functions including paid media, email, promotions, creative, print, and channel marketing.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven and collaborative leader with expertise in performance marketing, brand strategy, and customer segmentation. They will partner cross-functionally with Sales, Merchandising, Product Management and Technology to deliver cohesive, multi-channel customer experiences and measurable business results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with company objectives and support revenue growth.
- Partner with Sales to implement segmentation strategies that improve targeting, engagement, and conversion across channels.
- Lead execution of acquisition and retention initiatives, ensuring alignment across digital and traditional channels.
Brand & Creative Direction
- Support the evolution and consistency of Wurth Industry’s brand identity, voice, and positioning.
- Execute brand initiatives across campaigns, product lines, and customer touchpoints.
- Manage internal creative resources and external agency partners to deliver effective marketing assets.
Performance Marketing & Digital Execution
- Manage paid media and search programs, optimizing performance to meet revenue and ROI targets.
- Drive execution across digital channels including email, promotions, and campaign activation.
- Support integrated marketing campaigns that align demand generation, sales enablement, and customer engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Merchandising to align marketing plans with commercial priorities.
- Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
Analytical & Financial Acumen
- Monitor marketing performance and key KPIs, making data-driven adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Analyze campaign effectiveness and customer insights to optimize marketing investments.
- Support reporting on marketing contribution to revenue, margin, and customer growth.
Requirements
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6–8 years of progressive marketing experience, with a record of driving growth through marketing initiatives in partnership with sales.
- 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, including SEM and paid media strategy.
- Direct experience managing paid search budgets, preferably within an eCommerce environment.
- 3–5 years of people leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
